Indian Miniature Drawing
The focus of this assignment was to get absolute control of the point of the pencil. Working with a hard pencil and a motion that is more of a push than a pull, this technique was used to create soft deep tones. One quarter of the mark was for creativity: most chose to use this mark to include other media with their pencil work.

This project challenged students to create a figure that displayed distortion, mutation or exaggeration.
